IDO Spam Policy

IDO Customers agree to the below:

IDO supports free speech and the freedom of the internet. We DO NOT support e-mail abuse (SPAM). If you are not our customer or an authorized user, you may NOT use our e-mail servers for anything other than as a receiver for mail that has been requested from you by our local users. Anonymous relaying is strictly prohibited unless granted in writing by us. This includes, but is NOT limited to, sending messages to our local user with forwarding requests in any form, either SMTP or verbal to non-local users.

If you are an IDO customer or an authorized user of our servers and you send unsolicited e-mail that we receive legitimate complaints about, your e-mail privileges will be revoked immediately and your account's may be cancelled.

SPAM (or if you are a purest, SPEW) has become such a problem that we, and many other organizations around the world are taking action. We provide unlimited mailing accounts that folks can subscribe to for discussions through our clients discretion using IDOMAIL. We also have SPAM filtration services running on our e-mail servers which filter both incoming and outgoing mail for SPAM. It is not perfect but we will continue our crusade.

We support the rights of individuals to privacy on the Internet. We do monitor normal web information provided by browsers but we do not make it available or sell it. We also do not allow cookies or other intrusive incursions into peoples pc's to be added to sites hosted here. It may not make us popular but it is the right thing to do.
