All cryptographic functions
and security protocols
employed by IDO client
endpoint software are
implemented using
state-of-the-art Certicom
Security Builder® libraries
for assurance and high
performance. Because there
are no end-user-configurable
cryptographic settings, it
is impossible for users to
weaken IDO's security
through accidental or
intentional misconfiguration.

 IDO's
remote session service is
the most secure remote
support product available.
NO UNENCRYPTED
INFORMATION STORED
Unlike other remote support
products that store
unencrypted information such
as chat transcripts or
session recordings on the
local representative's PC or
on datacenter servers, IDO's
remote session never holds
unencrypted session
information within our
infrastructure.
END-TO-END
ENCRYPTION AND
AUTHENTICATION
IDO's secure-communication
architecture uses
industry-standard SSL and
128-bit Advanced Encryption
Standard (AES) encryption,
approved by the U.S.
Government National Security
Agency to protect classified
communication. IDO encrypts
session data end to end, and
unlike other remote support
products, IDO's security can
never be turned off.
End-to-end authentication is
accomplished using the
Secure Remote Password (SRP)
protocol. SRP is resilient
against a wide variety of
attacks, including both
passive eavesdropping and
active password cracking.
